The story was inspired by his journey overcoming ocular melanoma in 2009 and explores resilience, hope, and perseverance through an epic fantasy adventure. Rather than writing a traditional memoir, he chose to tell his story through the lens of fantasy, inviting readers to discover deeper meanings while enjoying an immersive world.
